Tax Adviser Magazine, a monthly publication, was well-liked in print format - but the online version had limited readership.
Starting with user research, we attended branch meetings to understand how members wanted to receive content. The consensus was that they were looking for an online experience that could beat offline reading.
Mobile apps and site speed
Research led to the development of basic iOS and Android apps by a 3rd party supplier. These were well-received and showed the demand for mobile content.
At the same time, we moved their existing site onto Drupal-optimised hosting to improve performance and management of publishing.
