User Experience Designer
We are looking for an experienced User Experience Designer to champion user-centred design. You will work directly with a UI designer and information architect, collaborating with a larger production team of digital strategists and developers, and embedded across diverse client projects.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a strategic career move - where they can develop team leadership skills over time, but are still prepared to do the hard work on the ground.
You will oversee the end-to-end UX process, from discovery research to solution delivery, including:
Plan, conduct and analyse user research
Facilitate client workshops
Create a range of deliverables: personas, customer journey maps, wireframes, information architecture documentation
Ensure user insights and best practice are reflected in UI designs
Work closely with developers to ensure wires and IA plans align with developer plans/budget
Collaborate with management and digital strategists to scope new project work and contribute to pitch proposals
Educate internal team members and clients on UX activities
You will have a minimum of four years experience in UX design.
You will be an advocate for users, helping to facilitate and close the gap between user needs, client business goals, and digital platform delivery. You will have a strong understanding of the need to be pragmatic with challenging budgets and timelines.
You will work with a diverse range of clients, including charities and non-profits, arts and cultural organisations, and educational institutions.
Our ideal candidate...

Showcases strong client work and their end-to-end UX process in their portfolio.
Balances client business goals with user needs, and understands how to be pragmatic with user research and discovery.
