We're a friendly, hard-working Drupal-only web agency. Based in London (and in Slovenia). We currently have around thirty staff and our team are known for the high standard of work they deliver. Clients are a wide range of businesses, including charities, education establishments and innovative organisations. Client projects cover every type of project you can conceive of with Drupal. Our approach to production is process-driven and helps us deliver high standards of engineering, in a relaxed working environment.

We are in the process of scaling the agency, with ambitious plans over the next three years that leverage the value of our unique approach. We are not an agency relying on four or five key clients and looking to add a few more - we have helped hundreds of clients, past and present, and our growing client roster is fuelled by our proposition. To help drive this growth, we are looking for new members of our team.  


About the role

NDP’s new Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining finances, running the office and supporting Management Board with Operational information (forecast, budgeting numbers, operational effectiveness analysis). It will be a role ensuring the successful continuance of business operations.

We are looking for a client and success oriented person with great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with targets, able to carry out financial tasks and take initiatives to streamline operational processes. Besides delivering practical operational duties & carrying out financial activities, the role will require the Operations Manager to run the office in a way to create an enjoyable working environment for our staff. Ability to multitask is key and it is a great opportunity to further develop a career in Operations by having more autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities are divided into a few areas, namely:

Financial Operations:

  • Managing, raising & chasing invoices/bills inc supplier invoices

  • Processing petty cash and expenses receipts 

  • Keeping logs of hours recorded by staff daily

  • Monthly revenue & costs management, other KPI and P&L management

  • Managing cash flow

  • Closing monthly payroll inc bonus management together with our Accountants

General Operations:

  • Responsible for managing holidays & ensuring that HR records are kept up-to-date.

  • Driving recruitment activities to support our growth plan

  • Implementing and making recommendations on processes to increase productivity, managing internal systems.

  • Making sure that all time logs of hours are reported and recorded by prod members daily

  • Owning supplier relationships

  • Acting as Health and Safety officer

Office Management:

  • Ensuring that the workplace is properly equipped, has sufficient supplies & ensure secure filing of records/documents

  • Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and contractors

  • Managing inbound calls, posts & company events together with the team


Skills & Knowledge

  • Well-organised, comfortable managing own workload, and prioritising work

  • Great attention to detail 

  • Strong organisational & multitasking skills 

  • Results oriented and comfortable with multiple responsibilities

  • Great communication skills

  • Can-do attitude, proactively engaging clients and colleagues

  • Strong team player

  • Experience with Jira (Zendesk or similar) is desirable 

  • Experience with Excel (Google Sheets) is required

  • Experience with Xero (Sage or similar) is desirable 

  • Digitally smart and having a curiosity and passion for new things
