Managed Services Sales Executive

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level sales executive to work within a leading London-based digital agency. We are looking for someone who wants to progress their career in a sales focused role. You will have a direct sales focus using your knowledge and experience to deliver on new opportunities for the agencies managed services within new and existing clients.

You should have a genuine experience in the digital marketplace and the energy needed to lead on and win new opportunities across our target market place. You will, in an ideal world have previous experience in selling managed services and or support services for digital businesses.

In this role you also work with a number of our key accounts to identify and close new opportunities for further services and contracts.

You will be expected to have to have exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for digital media. You should come with an attitude to learn and work as part of a team with a consultative and solution driven approach. You should be confident working in a team environment and taking guidance as necessary, while being able to work autonomously. You should be able to put solutions and recommendations to clients while showing good storytelling and client influencing skills.

This is a client facing role. You will come either from a digital agency or a digital services business with a background in sales here you have owned and met targets and sales responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • The ownership of Managed Services sales target.

  • Responsibility to work with and own the sales relationship with some selected agency support and managed services clients.

  • Lead generation. Create opportunities both through your own activities and alongside the agencies marketing activities. Take responsibility for helping to create enough new opportunities to build sales pipeline.

  • Create, manage and agree a lead generation marketing plan for Managed Services sales.

  • Organising as required the agency’s resource and responses to client requirements.

  • Operationalise the clients requirements within NDP ie, scope and define clients managed services solutions to be sold.

  • Reporting including results and forecasting.

  • Work proactively within the NDP team to help create and execute on new client opportunities.

  • Work closely alongside the account managers and client strategist team.

  • Create and maintain sales strategies and plans where needed.

  • Input and feedback into the creation of new services offerings that are client and market place relevant.

  • Act as the NDP partner to our clients.

You will be expected to be proactive in making judgements of where your time is best spent for the benefit of the business and the client. You will base this on your working knowledge of the clients, the priorities at any time of the business.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience sales and business development in the digital market for managed services and or client support services.

  • Exceptional client communications and organisation skills are needed at all times to excel in this role

  • Ability to set your own priorities and focus efforts where needed at any time.

  • Ability to take a brief and instruct the agency in requirements.

  • A level of technical knowledge and capability across a digital agency and its projects would be significantly beneficial.

  • Ability to create, track and maintaining client sales plans and activities.

  • Good commercial understanding - scoping, pricing, planning and pitching.

  • Ability to take ownership of client opportunities.

  • Manage selling process including creating proposals and responses  

  • Time management: Ensuring your time is spent where is it best spent for the business and the clients.

  • Effective forecasting of opportunities
